take a live one or dead in a jar but not crushed to the garden dept.–and ask them what it might be.–or ask/call an exterminator.–25 year old wallpaper?–take the crap down.–get zinser wallpaper remover–a paint putty knife.–get a small pump sprayer use hot water mix the product and spray a 3 foot wide area.–let it set and scrape the wallpaper off–easily.–now that u painted it you will need to buy a scorer.–its a wheel with tiny barbs.–run that first so the solution gets under the paint and into the grass wallpaper and the old glue holding it.
I’ve seen them too in my grasscloth wallpaper. We painted over them too. I’ll be eagerly awaiting to hear a good answer. Oh and yeah… like was said above me, put one in a jar or baggie, but take it to a pest control shop.
