Great episode! I love quilting with my mom, I can’t wait to come home from the UK so I can make another one. I’ve had an idea to take muslin scraps and dye them different shades of teal, purple, blue, green and gold and creating a totally crazy scrap quilt. Whenever I get it done I’ll be sure to post!
That was a nifty episode! I was looking at my grandmas quilts the other day and wondering how hard they could be to make…so…maybe I’ll try that for myself sometime soon! (Not like I don’t have a bazillion scraps of fabric just laying around or anything…

basically really close-together zig zagging around the edge of something. I think you can buy an applique foot for your machine, and that works best.

It’s there so people can cut down on their spelling errors, and hopefully reduce the amount of stupid comments.
But perhaps its not working.

And now I finally know why they call it paper piecing.
I feel a little silly. (It’s one of those “well duh” moments, heh.)

Pentagon, not pentagram. Pentagram is the star in a circle.
